Job Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position is new product design and development. The duties include analog and digital circuit design, product specification, overseeing the development and testing of prototypes, and following the development through to production.

In addition to the technical attributes of the position, there are additional responsibilities. These include customer meetings, scheduling and coordinating the tasks of engineers and technicians assisting on the program. The candidate will need to work directly with customer engineers for co-development on some products. The candidate will be responsible for working with customer engineers to ensure that program goals are met, schedules are maintained, and problems encountered during the development process are satisfactorily resolved. The candidate will need to work with other project team members and design engineers, reporting on and resolving issues related to mechanical, electrical and software design. The candidate must be able to travel and accompany the customer on vehicle development test trips to support our products. The candidate may also be required to drive customer and company test vehicles to evaluate products under development.

The ability to work independently and with minimal direction is required. Strong communication skills and experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools, are also required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a BSEE degree as a minimum, and 6-10 years experience in analog and digital circuit design – preferably in the automotive industry. ASIC development experience is a plus. Knowledge of software programming languages, such as assembly and C/C++, and the use of CAN software tools is also a plus.

Position: Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct vehicle development software and calibrations for electronic control modules that are currently being developed for production programs. The candidate will also need to work directly with customer software engineers to co-develop software on some products. The candidate will be responsible for working with customer engineers to ensure that program goals are met, schedules are maintained, and problems encountered during the development process are satisfactorily resolved. The candidate will need to work with other project team members and design engineers, reporting on and resolving issues related to mechanical, electronic and software design. The candidate must be able to travel and accompany the customer on vehicle development test trips to support our products. The candidate may also e required to drive customer and Hitachi test vehicles to evaluate products under development.

The ideal candidate will possess a BSEE/BSCE degree as a minimum, be proficient in software programming languages such as assembly, C or other high level languages, have experience with electronic control systems, be familiar with automotive component and vehicle test procedures, including EMI/EMC testing and generally be knowledgeable in the automotive development process. The candidate will have experience with design specifications, detailed software configuration management tools. Ideally the candidate will have design experience with Motorola and Hitachi microprocessors, working knowledge of debuggers and emulation tools, CAN interface tools and other serial communication interfaces.

The candidate will have had 3-5 years of applicable experience, preferably in an automotive environment. Significant customer interaction is highly desirable. The ability to work independently and with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with PCs and application software such as WordPerfect, Excel and Lotus is desirable.

Location: QMP - Quality & Manufacturing and Purchasing

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The China Buyer Assistant will work with the China Sourcing Office to coordinate all Purchasing assignments and track Program Status. The individual will be responsible for working with the Purchasing Buyers to develop, track and resolve open issues on China Supplier Quotations.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to develop Quotation Package and ensure all required information is in package.
Ability to work with Ford System to obtain part prints, specs ect.
Ability to work with cross function team memeber to coordinate project objectives.

SKILLS PREFERRED:
Use of Excell, word and powerpoint.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:
College Grad
